Look Whats Up My Sleeve
yay for completing and attaching my first ever sweater sleeve! so, its a little lumpy, but so is the sweater, and its a little on the itchy side, but oh well. i wont judge my sweater until its been properly blocked and paraded around town with my chest puffed out in complete triumph! i'm gonna keep this short because i've got a date with some yarn going nuts to be included on this sweater schenanigan!

Scott's Hat
so, i've got a friend with an uncovered head, and a pattern i made that wants to manifest itself into a hat. and thus, scott's hat came to be started. a warning: since im in the middle of my first sweater, which i spent all kinds of time waiting to start making it, and am now only needing sleeves, this hat might take a while to be done, so dont come on tomorrow in hopes of seeing anything excting. maybe come back for hat updates in like a week.

Two Arms Short of a Sweater Bill Cosby Would Go Crazy Over
ok so let's take this from the top!
right now, im in the process of making my first sweater ever, after having been seriously infected with the knitting bug (my boyfriend swears knitting is why i've got a cold). its a pattern from rowan that my sister sent to me. its kind of crazy, so i thought that would be fun. the yarn is either from knit picks, or from a stash my sister mailed to me (along with the pattern). for the cuffs, i used us size 7 needles, and the rest is all on size nine.
so this is pretty much me being extremely excited to start a sweater after spending way too long on a scarf for my friend's bday. way too long = me redoing it when it was almost done because im anal like that.
success!! you'd better believe i was trying this thing on by tying the knitting needles around my neck!
front and back! yay for safety pins so i could pin it up and parade around my neighbor's room for an impromptu sleeveless sweater fashion show! stay on the edge of your seat for more sweater to come!
