Before and After
okay, so *maybe* the sweater isnt completely dry yet, but i really wanted to try it on to see the length. then with the magic of paint, i juxtaposed before and after blocking pics next to each other. after is on the right. its kind of funny, because the yellow looks kinda wavy, revealing where the safety pins were. i reblocked with more pins to minimize the waves for when it actually is 100% dry. but, im pretty happy with the result! i think it grew about 4 inches, which is nothing to complain about!

so nice! The extra-long sleeves look very very cozy, and the length is perfect. Let's hear it for blocking!

SQ, You are amazing-- the sweater came out so nicely. You're one creative chick! My favorite part is the thumbholes. Cute!

Fabulous and you're so fast. Blocking is really a wonderful thing. You should be really proud of your sweater.

I can't believe you knit that so fast and so well, having never knit Intarsia before. Congratulations! It looks fabulous and I hope you enjoy wearing it.

AH! I love that sweater, and I really didn't think anyone would have the nerve to knit it! Good for you, it's adorable, and such a challenge for a first sweater. Were the thumbholes part of the pattern, or did you add that? I love them either way.
