Hanging with Dubyah
although last week progress may have seemed quite productive on the demi, things definitely slowed down this weekend. im still on the first sleeve, and only on the second set of bobbles.
i had a pretty ridiculously busy weekend. i went to d.c. for the society for neuroscience conference (where the super cutest dali lama gave a nice talk). when i wasn't getting brained-out, i was trekking across the national lawn to check out all the national monuments, wishing there could be a national metro monument to take me around.
all in all, it was a lot of fun, and i spent way too much money. this week, i have about 100 tests, so im guessing demi progress will be quite slow until friday afternoon, when i'll undoubtedly break loose and get ultra knitty.

Oh, the bobbles look cute! Here we were, all worried that they might be humongous, but yours seem quite alright.
Good luck on the tests this week. Now I know I've got until Friday to catch up with you on Demi!

i went to that conference in new orleans a couple years ago. loved it. your knits is coming along really nicely!

I love how it looks in that yarn! I don't think it was you that slowed down -- at least for me it started going much slower when the ribbing ended and I had to start looking at the chart -- esp. after the pattern repeats stopped being in sync. I'm in about the same place you are, though I think I had a nightmare that a cat ripped out dozens of rows of progress while I slept. I THINK it was a nightmare. Should have checked before I left for work...

I think you're supposed to spend too much money when you go on trips - it's a rule or something. Good luck on your tests and Demi looks great.

Looks great! I think we're all going to be moving slowly through the cabley sections...at least at first. I hope all the exams go well!
