ok, so after careful examination of eunny's vest progess, i think her vest is way better than mine so far. consequently... and sadly, my five inches of vest has become quite a mess of yarn. sigh. maybe i will make swatches and follow the directions after all!

So glad that your blog and your sister's are back!
Knitting mishaps happen ... hope the vest would go better after doing the swatches.

Oh, the strong pull toward ignoring the directions! I long for it so. In the end though, I'm always happier if I follow as closely as possible... well, that's not true at all.
As close to *gauge* as possible. ;)
