Birth of a Zippy
i will just be honest and admit that i am copying brookylntweed. but its such a good idea. and although i have been reminded that its the beginning of summer when people catch me knitting, i'll be the bee's knees in the fall! ha. here's the back panel:
i'm using peace fleece in sheplova mushroom. its so pretty. today though, i packed a pear in the same bag as the yarn and found that i do not enjoy eating fleecey fruit. im knitting on size 8s, and i reduced the pattern by a ton and am making the zippy fitted. right now, im working on the front pieces at the same time. pretty exciting!

Looking great so far! I love that color. All those nonknitters will be jealous in the fall :-)

I didn't know bees had knees, but you seem like a reliable source. Love the color, although somewhat disappointed that it will fit. Still visit the two argyle vests comparisons for a quick smile.

That Jared is definitely on to something. Your sweater is looking great and you'll be so fashionable in the fall!

woohoo! bring on the summer-wools. that color kicks ass, and i'm excited to see a (much smaller!) fitted version!
